Diesel Prices Increase in September

National average diesel fuel prices were $3.38 per gallon as of September 20, 2021, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

This is an increase from the beginning of the month when diesel fuel prices were $3.37 as of Sept. 6.

At the end of August, diesel fuel prices were $3.34.

Current average diesel prices by region are:

• East Coast: $3.35

• Midwest: $3.29

• Gulf Coast: $3.11

• Rocky Mountain: $3.62

• West Coast: $4.02
