As winter storms rage across the country, more than 5,700 workers and over 600 bucket trucks were dedicated to restoring power to 290,000 Central Virginia-based customers, according to WUSA9.

Dominion Energy stated the ice storm of Feb. 13 was the most damaging in the commonwealth in two decades.

The restoration process was completed on the evening of Feb. 17, but Dominion Energy Operation Constructions Supervisor Thomas Manley said more freezing rain could be on the way.
