The LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus air spring suspension line from Air Lift Company offers the same benefits of the company’s other Air Lift load support products but features upgraded components for Class 3 trucks.

Upgrades to the support kit include stainless steel mounting hardware, roll plates, and a braided air line. Stainless steel provides protection from sharp edges and road debris for air springs, according to Air Lift Company. The company also added military-grade AN fittings that thread together for a metal-to-metal seal that doesn’t require air line cutting.

The LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus kits feature double-bellow air springs with an internal jounce bumper, built to provide improved load-leveling capabilities with full adjustability and better ride quality. The air springs are built like a tire, with durable 2-ply fabric and ultra-strong nylon composite end caps, which are light and corrosion-resistant.

The internal jounce bumper is added to absorb shock and protect loads, and is maintenance-free, allowing for the air springs to run safely at zero air pressure in emergency situations. The air springs can hold anywhere from 5 to 100 p.s.i., allowing the air pressure to be adjusted for different load requirements.

Adding LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus air springs to 1/2-, 3/4-, and 1-ton pickups will help to evenly distribute the weight of the load to all four wheels, eliminating vehicle squat which causes poor braking, unresponsive steering, and trailer sway. The kits work with the vehicle's existing suspension to provide up to 5,000 pounds of load-leveling capacity and are built to be a highly durable solution to uneven headlight aim, body roll, bottoming out, and a rough ride.

Most LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Plus air spring kits require no drilling into the vehicle frame and are compatible with fifth wheel and gooseneck hitches. The standard Installation can usually be completed in two hours or less, according to Air Lift Company.
