Decos launched its real-time driving app Flo. Flo gives drives feedback that helps them be safer driver and save money on fuel and maintenance costs in the process.
Android users can download Flo free at Google Play store. Flo records all trips through its motions sensors. A driver can earn or lose points for his or her driving behavior. Factors like smooth acceleration and steady speed are points gained, while hard braking and driving too fast around corners are points deducted.
Flo went through its beta testing phase in March 2014. The newest version features improved battery-life, possibility to add up to 6 cars to personalize your account, better feedback and points and allows the driver to invite friends from Google+ or Facebook.
Flo can be installed on Android smartphones running Android 4.1 and higher. The launch for the iPhone app is set for the first quarter of 2015.
