Shallow or deep, the new Snap-on 3/4-inch drive socket sets make an immediate impact on productivity and efficiency, according to the company.

“Our new 3/4-inch drive shallow and deep socket sets are designed and manufactured to last, no matter how hard you use them,” said Scott Amundson, product manager for Snap-on. “Each of our new impact socket sets is a great addition to any toolbox and, once service technicians start using them, they will likely see an instant improvement in performance and productivity.”

The new Snap-on 3/4-inch drive shallow and deep 6- and 12-point impact socket sets are heat treated to optimize impact service life with a lower hardness than hand sockets and are able to withstand repeated cycling loads of impact wrenches, the company stated.

A proprietary blend of special alloy socket steel provides a long life and great strength, and the Flank Drive wrenching system delivers up to 20 percent more turning power without slipping or rounding while exceeding ANSI performance standards, according to the company.
