Simpson County, Miss., has only three of its refuse trucks working after four trucks were disabled in June, MS News Now reported.

Lighting struck two of the county’s newer refuse trucks during a storm while two other trucks were undergoing repairs. Then, a transfer truck burned up, possibly from an electrical fire.

This reduced the fleet to two vehicles. The county purchased a used truck that has been delivered as well as two new trucks that will arrive in about three months.
