Twenty-four Mickey Truck Body employees volunteered for the “Great American Clean Up” in High Point, N.C., this spring as part of a nationwide initiative sponsored by Keep America Beautiful. Local affiliates and partnering organizations, volunteers and corporate sponsors play a key role in the success of the Great American Cleanup, and the Mickey crew certainly held up their end of the deal.

“This event was our time to shine,” said Mickey President Dean Sink. “As Mickey employees, we know how important it is to keep our workspace clean and organized. It’s not only a safety measure, it also reflects on our pride and work ethic. It’s just as important to keep our environment clean for those same reasons. We made the commitment to lead by and show the entire High Point Community the true meaning of ‘The Mickey Way.’”

Following the Clean Up Mickey treated its volunteers to a biscuit breakfast and held a drawing for cards ranging in value from $25 to $250.
