Rush Enterprises has acquired the Ford franchise rights and related assets from Transwest Truck Center Las Vegas, allowing the company to sell medium-duty Ford commercial vehicles at its Las Vegas, Nev., dealership location.

Rush Truck Center-Las Vegas will join six other Rush locations that also offer Ford commercial vehicles. Rush sells Ford vehicles at its Denver, Colo.; Oklahoma City, Okla.; Dallas, Texas; Orlando, Fla.; Whittier, Calif.; and Cincinnati, Ohio locations.

“We are proud to add another dedicated sales and service point in our network offering the Ford product line and giving us a stronger medium-duty presence in the Western United States,” said W.M. "Rusty" Rush, chairman, CEO and president of Rush Enterprises. “By adding a Ford dealership in Nevada, we are able to provide more service, parts and sales solutions and offer ready-to-roll inventory of tough Ford trucks to our customers just as we do in our other six Ford locations.”

Rush Truck Centers is a network of commercial vehicle dealerships in the U.S. with more than 100 dealership locations in 21 states. These dealerships represent truck and bus manufacturers including Peterbilt, International, Hino, Isuzu, Ford, Mitsubishi, IC Bus and Blue Bird.
