Lift and Access magazine announced their 2015 Lifting Equipment and Aerial Platforms (LLEAP) Award Winners. The main categories include aerial lifts, material handlers, cranes, OEM features or essential components, and aftermarket support products and services.
According to the article, these awards “recognize products, components, and accessories that are innovative or have advanced the lifting and access industry.”
The five categories require that a product, major product improvement, or accessory must have been available in North America and have been introduced or delivered to the market between June 1, 2014, and May 31, 2015. Companies winning Gold in each category include MEC's 6092 RT Scissor Lift, Manitou's MRT 3255 Privilege Plus Rotating Telehandler, Altec's AC40-1525 Dual-Rated Boom Truck, and Terex Utilities' Cobra-Style Jib, while JLG took Gold for its training programs.
