An 18-year-old man in South Carolina was sent to jail after stealing his father’s work truck from an electric cooperative’s parking lot. He was charged with grand larceny, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a stolen vehicle, according to the Herald.

Mitchell Seth Littleton reportedly used his father’s keys to enter the locked parking lot at York Electric Cooperative. He then stole his father’s truck and said he helped others steal additional items from the parking lot.

This was not the first case of theft for the electric cooperative that week. The day before Littleton's arrest, officials from the cooperative reported that two of their bucket trucks valued at $135,000 and $2,500 worth of copper wire had been stolen from one of their fenced-in areas.

Littleton’s bond was set at $81,092.50.
