Cequent Performance Products launched its first two-day training event at its headquarters in Plymouth, Mich., giving those in attendance a better understanding of Cequent’s products and brands.

Training focused on the company’s electrical products and was broken into four half-day seminars: brake controls, tow vehicle to trailer wiring products, trailer wiring, lighting and brake components, and an electrical product overview. Technical trainers, technical services representatives, product managers, and engineering teams led the training.

“We appreciate our customers and their commitment to the Cequent family of brands,” said Tom Romero, Director of Sales and Technical Training for Cequent Performance Products. “It is in our best interest as a company to provide them with the tools to be successful when selling and installing our products.”

The training took place August 19-20, with more than two dozen dealers and installers taking part. Attendees learned proper techniques for installing and troubleshooting with classroom instruction and hands-on demonstrations.
