Chrysler Group is recalling 125 2014 model-year Ram 1500 4x4 trucks because they may roll away unexpectedly when the truck is parked, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports.

The recall, due to begin next month, only affects trucks manufactured from Jan. 24 through Feb. 5 of this year. The transmission case may have been improperly machined, which could lead to the park pawl not properly engaging when the transmission is in the “park” position, NHTSA said. As a result, the vehicle may roll away and pose a safety risk.

Chrysler dealers will inspect and replace the transmission, as necessary, free of charge.

Truck owners can reach Chrysler at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is P13.
