EDEN PRAIRIE, MN - GE Capital Fleet Services will host a webinar Sept 20, focusing on the U.S. Department of Transportation's Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) safety enforcement program. The webinar will examine the impact the program has had on both truck carriers and drivers since it was implemented in 2010.

The webinar will feature Mark Catlin, National Account Executive for J.J. Keller & Associates and Jeff Kaley, Product Manager for GE Capital Fleet Services. Speakers will discuss the experience within the industry since the implementation of the program and offer commentary regarding areas in which fleets should focus their attention. 

Other CSA topics being discussed:

  • CSA use of the Safety Management System (SMS), and the seven Behavior Analysis and Safety Improvement Categories (BASICs) that are used to analyze a fleet
  • Possible changes to the program and tips to stay informed and prepared
  • The CSA intervention triggers which fleets need to be aware of
  • The levels of fleet intervention
