BIRMINGHAM, AL - Birmingham, Ala.-based Wood Fruitticher Food Service plans to increase visibility, safety, and efficiency of its 100-truck fleet. The company recently announced it has selected XATANET to monitor vehicle location and driver behavior and to streamline its regulatory compliance procedures.

With XATANET in place, Wood Fruitticher expects to achieve ROI within six months, and will reduce fleet-related operating expenses by 12 percent, according to the company.

An independent broadline distributor of food and other restaurant-related goods since 1913, Wood Fruitticher distributes products to customers in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, southern South Carolina, and eastern Louisiana.
