TORRANCE, CA - Online balloting is now open to award the 2010 Fleet Truck of the Year honors. Voting is open to all professional fleet managers whose fleet units include light-duty trucks. The ballot closes Oct. 15.

Sixteen light-duty truck models have been nominated, representing all major domestic and import-badged vehicles. Fleet managers also may vote for the 2010 Fleet Car of the Year; the ballot accepts votes for one vehicle in both car and truck categories.

The annual award is presented by Automotive Fleet magazine.

Fleet managers are encouraged to select the truck that best fits their company fleet needs, considering features, function, styling, maintenance, remarketing value, OEM service, and drivers' feedback.

Inaugurated in 2003, the Fleet Truck and Car of the Year awards continues Automotive Fleet's efforts to promote excellence in the fleet industry, said Mike Antich, AF editor. In addition to spotlighting outstanding fleet professionals with the Fleet Manager of the Year and Fleet Executive of the Year, "we've extended that recognition to the products and tools that allow fleet professionals to do their jobs at the highest possible level. That includes the critically important tool of the vehicles they select to perform their companies' missions."

Click here to vote. Winning vehicles will be announced in the December AF issue.
