FREDERICK, MD – A construction crew showed up to work only to find that hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel had been stolen, according to http://wjz.com. Last year diesel cost $2.88 for a gallon; today that cost has increased to $4.82 per gallon.

The steel tank was almost full, so the loss totaled $1,800 worth of diesel.

A site manager said that from now on there will be no tanks left on the site. Instead, workers will truck diesel in as needed.
