STEVENSVILLE, MD – Stertil-Koni USA, Inc., a European supplier of heavy-duty lifts, recently acquired two companies. On Jul. 1, Stertil Koni’s parent company, Stertil B.V., acquired ALM Corporation based in Streator, Ill. ALM is a 23-year-old manufacturer of lifts. ALM’s acquisition will facilitate Stertil Koni’s goal of manufacturing in the United States and providing global outreach for the full range of Stertil Koni’s product offering.

 

Also, on Jul. 2, Stertil BV acquired the full assets of Fleet America Service Technology, a Maryland corporation responsible for the development and fabrication of the ECO lift. This multi-scissors lift offers the optimum in axle-based vehicle lifting. The lift is being manufactured in Fleet America’s Manheim, Pa., facility located one hour east of Harrisburg.

 

The integration of these two companies into Stertil Koni’s portfolio provides Stertil Koni USA, Inc. the opportunity to offer a full spectrum of lifting options presently available in the lifting industry. It fulfills Stertil Koni’s long-term objective of offering a “one-stop-shop” approach for all potential users of heavy-duty lifts.
