THOMASVILLE, N.C. – Chuck Powell, vice president of the Pacific Northwest region for Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., announced the opening of a new service center in Eugene, Ore. The 20-door facility is located on a two-acre site at 32160 Old Highway 34, Tangent, Ore.

According to Powell, the Eugene Service Center will begin operations under the leadership of Terminal Manager Quinn Ransom, who will direct a staff of 10.

“The opening of the Eugene Service Center will help to improve coverage in the Salem, Eugene, Corvallis and Springfield areas,” said Powell. “Old Dominion will be positioned to gain market share in points currently being served.”
