AKRON, OH – Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. will raise its commercial tire prices up to five percent on May 1, according to Modern Tire Dealer magazine.

“The Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly brands are affected by the increase,” said Goodyear officials, who cite hikes in raw material, energy, and transportation costs are reasons for the decision. In addition, Goodyear raised its OTR tread rubber prices up to five percent on Apr. 2.
