NIEDERWUERSCHNITZ, GERMANY – German truck driver Walter Reckling, 46, was running late for a delivery, according to the Web site www.shortnews.com. He was also hungry, so instead of stopping to cook himself some sausages, he decided to cook while he was driving.

He lit a little gas cooker in the cab of his truck and continued driving while cooking the sausages. The cooker toppled over setting fire to his seat, which then set fire to his cabin. He was treated for smoke inhalation at the hospital in Niederwuerschnitz, Saxony, Germany. He was also found to be three times over the legal alcohol driving limit.
