REDFORD TOWNSHIP, MI – Goodyear Unisteel G622 RSD regional service drive tire was selected for the all-new Sterling Truck Corp.’s Sterling Bullet. Sterling selected Goodyear tires in size 225/70R19.5 for the all-new model that complements the company’s light-duty commercial truck offering. The Bullet was unveiled Tuesday at the NTEA Work Truck Show 2007 in Indianapolis.

The Bullet also rides on the G647 RSS tire for severe regional service. An exclusive high scrub-resistant tread compound provides optimal service in tough pickup and delivery applications where turning, braking and backing are extreme.

The new Bullet truck is available in either regular or quad cab configurations, as well as in two-wheel or four-wheel drive. Sterling Truck Corp., headquartered in Redford, Mich., produces a full line of Class 3-8 work trucks for regional hauling and diverse vocational applications. The Bullet competes in the Class 4 or 5 markets. Sterling is a subsidiary of Freightliner LLC.
