LOUISVILLE, KY – The Kentucky Truck Plant has begun production of the new 2008 F-Series Super Duty; the truck will begin arriving in dealerships early in 2007. The 2008 Super Duty lineup includes a new F-450 pickup truck, as well as a new clean diesel engine. There is a host of features, including an available integrated tailgate step, as well as optional power-fold and power-telescoping side mirrors for towing.

The new vehicle has undergone the equivalent of 10-million durability test miles. A new $65-million trim line has been installed in the plant to assemble the new Tough Truck interior. The Super Duty lineup includes the F-250 through F-550 trucks, making up about 40 percent of total F-Series sales.
