EPA Aiming to Yank Glider Kits from GHG/MPG Rule

The Environmental Protection Agency has begun the formal process to launch a rulemaking that would eliminate provisions affecting glider kits within the Phase 2 Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Fuel Efficiency Standards, which start to take effect in January.

As of October, Motiv-powered vehicles have driven more than 275,000 miles. In 2017 alone, they have covered more than 83,000 miles, saving nearly 300 barrels of oil from consumption.

Verizon Telematics Expands Offerings

Verizon Telematics has become the largest provider of built-in telematics and mobile applications for commercial vehicles and has moved closer to rebranding its product offerings for its customers, CEO Andrés Irlando told an audience gathered at the annual Latitude conference.
