Pickup Trucks from Across Rural America Break Guinness World Record

Thousands of devoted pickup truck enthusiasts and RURAL RADIO fans from across the country descended on Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, August 3, 2013 to help set the new Guinness World Records for the world’s Largest Parade of Pickup Trucks.

Ford Details Sustainable Materials Used in 2014 F-150

Ford is using a number of sustainable materials in its 2014-MY F-150 pickup truck, from rice hulls used to reinforce the plastic in an electrical harness in the vehicle to soybeans and recycled cotton.

Toyota Starts Production of 2014 Tundra

Toyota started production of its redesigned 2014-MY Tundra pickup truck at its Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Texas, Inc. (TMMTX) plant in San Antonio at the beginning of August. The automaker said the 2014 Tundra will go on sale at dealers in September.
