SANTA ANA, CA -- The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has issued an Executive Order (EO) on Greenkraft Inc’s 2012 dedicated compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel systems on General Motors 14,000 lbs. GVRW and above 4.8L V-8 engine.

Significant features include available Hill Descent Control, segment-first HID headlamps, and segment-exclusive power-folding and telescoping trailer tow mirrors.

Ford Debuts 2013 F-150 King Ranch in Texas

DALLAS – The 2013 Ford F-150 King Ranch was debuted at the 2012 State Fair of Texas. The new model is available with a 5.0L V-8 or 3.5L EcoBoost engine, and achieves 11,300 lbs. of trailer towing capability, according to Ford.

The HHVs in Baltimore will be deployed immediately, while the vehicles in Atlanta will be introduced before the end of 2012.

UPS to Add 40 Hydraulic Hybrid Vehicles to its Fleet

BALTIMORE – UPS announced it will deploy 20 hydraulic hybrid vehicles in Baltimore and 20 in Atlanta. Developed by Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation and Parker Hannifin Corporation, the vehicles are expected to improve fuel economy up to 35 percent.
