In September 1997, he was promoted to CFO, and held that position until his assignment here ended in 2000 and he returned to Japan.

According to Todd Bloom, president and CEO of MFTA, “Miwa’s financial expertise and the hands-on experience he developed over the course of his previous assignments with MFTBC will be instrumental in helping to guide our long-term growth.”

As CFO, Miwa will be responsible for analyzing and reporting accurate financial information, overseeing the company’s capital structure, as well as forecasting the financial impacts of the company’s business decisions and developing economic strategy.

“Fortunately for us,” noted Bloom, "Miwa brings with him a thorough understanding of the truck industry in North America, as well as a thorough knowledge of MFTA business operations and the needs of our dealer network. We look forward to the many contributions I know he will make to MFTA’s ongoing success.”
