UD Trucks to End Production in U.S.

GREENSBORO, NC – UD Trucks will cease production of its cab-over-engine trucks in the U.S. market by the end of calendar year 2012, according to a company spokesperson. 

While UD’s parent-company, Volvo, and other major truck manufacturers posted gains in July, UD saw its sales decrease 88.6 percent on just four units, according to Wardsauto.com.
