WILLIAMSVILLE, NY – Total truck deliveries from Volvo Group’s four truck companies in July grew two percent to 19,243 from 18,824 reported in the year-earlier period, according to www.rttnews.com.

Geographically, Europe and North America reported a five percent and two percent drop, respectively, in deliveries. In South America, truck deliveries increased 32 percent, and in Asia, the rise was 16 percent.

In light-duty category, the growth was five percent, and the heavy-duty category showed an increase of four percent. However, delivery of medium-duty trucks reported a decline of 10 percent.

Year-to-date, total deliveries grew 27 percent to 154,888 units from 121,504 units.
