In an effort to expand its footprint in the Eastern U.S., truck body manufacturer Utilimaster plans to hire an additional 100 employees at its Ephrata facility in Pennsylvania. The company is seeking workers to fill several positions during the facility’s first shift, including a plant manager, plant supervisors, general assemblers, and skilled trades team leaders for welding, decals, electrical assembly, and mechanical assembly.

"We're in the midst of a remarkable period of growth and our team is expanding as a result," said Daryl Adams, President and Chief Executive Officer, Spartan Motors. "We build the very best purpose-built vehicles on the road today, so for new hires, this is a tremendous opportunity to join a growing team that I believe represents the very best in manufacturing excellence."

Utilimaster is a division of Spartan Motors, which produces specialty vehicles, chassis, and parts.
