La. Utility Worker Dies from Electrocution

A contract worker in Louisiana has died from electrocution while on the job. Edward Diaz, an employee of Southern Electric Company, was working in a bucket truck on contract wth Entergy when he came in contact with an exposed power line, reports 12 News Now.

A statement from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office said Diaz was pronounced dead at the scene, and foul play is not suspected.
