Washington Gas Exceeds GHG Emission Reduction Goals

Washington Gas announced that it has exceeded its greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction goals four years ahead of schedule. The utility planned on reducing its GHG emissions 70% by 2020, but has already reached a 74% reduction from its fleet and facilities.

Since setting its sustainability goals in 2011, Washington Gas has made a number of changes to its operations to its fleet and facilities. A major change was the addition of nearly 200 natural gas vehicles to the utility's fleet. View the company's announcement below:
