According to Cincinnati's WLWT, a utility worker died after he was hit by Brenda Amerson, 53, of Florence and then pinned between her vehicle and the utility truck in Florence, Ky., on Friday, Feb. 6.

Amerson, who was allegedly drunk during the accident, crashed her car into the worker, Joel Rebennack, 30, and then hit the back of the utility truck about 1:30 a.m. Friday. Emergency crews took Amerson St. Elizabeth Hospital with minor injuries.

Rebennack was flown to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Another utility worker in the bucket of the truck was not injured.

Police said a warrant was obtained for Amerson for manslaughter, wanton endangerment and Criminal Mischief and she is being held at the Boone County jail on $50,000 bond.
