Mount Laurel, NJ – ARI, a global fleet services provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, was announced as a winner of a 2012 SuperNova Award November 9, 2012 in Newport Beach, Calif., during the first night of Constellation Research’s Connected Enterprise innovation summit.

The Constellation SuperNova awards celebrate early adopters and teams who battle the odds to deploy new technologies that affect change within an organization. SuperNova award winners are leaders that embody the spirit of exploration and innovation, and recognize those who have put new technologies to work successfully.

ARI and Steve Haindl, the company’s senior vice president and CIO, were the winners in the “Data to Decisions” category, which recognizes advancements made in the areas of Big Data, decision management, visualization technologies, and information management. Under Haindl’s leadership, ARI became one of the first companies in the world and the first in its industry to implement the innovative SAP HANA platform, leveraging the power of in-memory technology to deliver real-time analytics on high volumes of data. SAP HANA works behind the scenes of the ARI insights fleet management system and the ARI analytics analysis tool.

Out of more than 120 applications that were received, 47 semifinalists were chosen, and only eight winners were named.
