Houston-based Nat G CNG Solutions has been selected to join Ford's Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) program to provide fleets natural gas versions of Ford trucks and vans, the company has announced.

Fleets can now turn to the Texas vehicle modifier for bi-fuel CNG versions of Ford's light-duty and Super Duty pickup trucks, as well as Transit and Transit Connect vans. Specific trucks include the F-150, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550, and F-650.

A fleet can reduce their fuel cost by 30-40 percent by replacing a gasoline vehicle with a bi-fuel model, according to the company. Nat G is a manufacturer and certified installer of natural gas fuel systems from Altech Eco and Landi Renzo.

Nat G has provided Ford natural gas vehicles for fleets such as Centerpoint Energy, Southwestern Energy, Boyer Construction, and Apple Towing.
