AMP Research has introduced a new BedStep Trail Series bumper step for the Jeep Wrangler JK that provides a safe and convenient platform to access roof-mounted cargo, and soft-tops. The flip-down step is compatible with the factory and most aftermarket bumpers, and tucks underneath, so it won't affect the vehicle's ground clearance or departure angles, according to the company.
The BedStep utilizes a precision spring-loaded cam mechanism that keeps it secure and rattle-free when it's not in use. Yet, the high-traction composite step pad (big enough for two large boots) can easily be deployed by pushing it down with the user’s foot; making it convenient when carrying cargo to the vehicle.
The AMP Research BedStep for Jeep Wrangler JK, (PN 75311-01A) is manufactured in the U.S.A. from high-strength aluminum alloy, and provides 300 pounds of secure, non-slip, load capacity. It fits both short-wheelbase 2-door and long-wheelbase Unlimited 4-door models, and comes with a three-year/36,000-mile warranty.
