Konecranes Quick Ship initiative provides a complete, competitively priced industrial overhead crane up to 10 tons in four weeks or less. The Quick Ship Program’s crane package includes a high-quality Konecranes CXT hoist, end trucks, power supply, and single girder steel in spans up to 52 feet, shipped to the customer in four weeks or better.
“Agile, fast-growing businesses that provide fabricated products to major automotive OEMs are a primary target market for these cranes. Part suppliers are selected on several criteria, one being their product shipment timeliness. Expedited delivery along with Konecranes world-class engineering and reliability help Quick Ship cranes meet that sweet spot head-on,” said Edward Di Cesare, Konecranes director of marketing, industrial crane products.
Companies manufacturing body and chassis systems, motors, battery packs, interior and exterior components, seat systems and other fittings for automotive OEMs may have capital expenditure budgets that have earmarked funds for a 2015 crane purchase. Konecranes Quick Ship Program helps managers complete the purchase to meet accounting and construction deadlines.
Quick Ship overhead cranes are available in 3-, 5-, 7.5- and 10-ton capacities, with either a 2-speed hoist or VFD inverter controls. The full-featured cranes will also include Konecranes hand-held mini-joystick radio control with pendant backup, and the proven, low-headroom CXT hoist that improves hook coverage of facility floor space. A plug and play festoon system and numerous safety features are all part of the package.
“Cranes purchased through Konecranes Quick Ship Program receive an additional year of warranty, three years total, including both parts and labor, when Konecranes service technicians install and commission the overhead crane,” said Di Cesare.
