Okla. Utility Recognized for Green Efforts

Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E) was recently recognized for its efforts in going green with two awards. In addition to being the first in the state to launch wind and solar power, the utility began deploying electric vehicles (EVs) in its fleet, and installed EV charging infrastructure in its service area.

EPA Approves Modest Renewable Fuel Increase for 2017

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has approved a 6% increase in the level of biofuels that producers must blend with gasoline and diesel in 2017 that falls significantly short of amount required by the Renewable Fuel Standard by 2022.
