As the leading provider of natural gas vehicle systems and conversions in the U.S., Clean Energy subsidiary BAF Technologies is now the first to offer a CNG Ford F-250/F-350 pickup truck equipped with underbody CNG tanks, leaving the bed of the truck completely available.

The BAF F-250/F-350 is available as both a dedicated CNG and a bi-fuel vehicle. With this product launch, BAF has successfully addressed the problem of forfeiting truck bed space to fuel storage.

BAF’s underbody system leaves the bed of the F-250/F-350 open and available for unrestricted use, and provides the driver with full visibility through the rear window.

According to the company. trucks equipped with competitors’ systems can result in a 15-percent loss of rear window visibility and a 30-percent loss of bed space. BAF is the first CNG converter to be recognized as a Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier (QVM) for gaseous fuels.
