Regulatory compliance and electronic logging technology company J.J. Keller & Associates will be holding a series of seminars in 2016 to educate fleets on the recently finalized ELD rule.

The rule was put in place by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and mandates the use of electronic logging devices by late 2017.

There will be more than 80 seminars in 40 states during 2016. J.J. Keller said its seminars are designed to help fleet professionals understand the operational and regulatory impacts of the mandate.

The events will examine the requirements of the ELD rule and how it will impact the Hours of Service regulations and introduce ELD technology to comply with the rule.

The company has also published an HOS compliance and E-Log planner that provides practical information and planning tools, ranging from ELD policy development to training and auditing.

“J. J. Keller & Associates can help fleets make a successful transition to electronic logs,” said Marne Keller-Krikava, president and CEO.. “We strive to help our customers better understand the regulations and available options, so they can make educated decisions for their organizations and reduce risk.”

The best thing any driver can get out of this seminar is the fact that you will starve to death.
The only solution is seriously seek another line of work and the day this comes into effect park your truck and tell them to go to hell

Richard, I am totally with you. I am not into this modern technology and Dec, 2017 is when I QUIT. IU am lost on this garbage, but I can fill out a paper log book. This ELD will be a cost and I have all the expense I need. So, FMCSA, go ahead and put me out of a job.
