Time Capsule: Bushing Ice & Coal Co. Fuel Truck Circa 1950

Fleet vehicles have always been called on to perform specialized tasks, as this upfit truck circa 1950 illustrates. The Bushing Ice & Coal Co. truck was upfit to act as fuel truck for customers in the Chicago area.  

The truck was upfit by the Auto Truck Group, and upfitter that has been in operation since 1918 and is currently headquartered in Bartlett, Ill.
