Supreme Names Besse Vice President of Sales & Marketing
GOSHEN, IN - Supreme Industries, Inc., announced the appointment of Bob Besse to the position of vice president of Sales & Marketing at its subsidiary, Supreme Corporation, effective immediately.
GOSHEN, IN - Supreme Industries, Inc., a leading manufacturer of specialized commercial vehicles, including truck bodies, shuttle buses, armored vehicles, and homeland response vehicles, announced the appointment of Bob Besse to the position of vice president of Sales & Marketing at its subsidiary, Supreme Corporation, effective immediately.
Besse replaces Mark Beer, who was named to the newly created position of director of Strategic Accounts, with responsibilities for expanding sales to meet Supreme's growing focus on major fleet customers.
Besse, a 20-year sales and marketing veteran, joined Supreme as the director of Marketing and Product Planning, where he led the development and launch of Supreme's Signature Van Body and the StarTrans TourLiner Luxury Coach product lines. Most recently, he served as the Company's National Fleet Sales Manager.
"Bob's diverse background in sales, marketing, and product development positions him exceptionally well for this assignment," commented Supreme Corporation's President and CEO, Robert Wilson. "His leadership and understanding of the many facets of our business and industry have been instrumental to the Company's achievements. We look forward to Bob's ongoing contributions in his new role."
Besse earned his BBA in Management from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from Emory's Goizueta Business School.
