Mitsubishi Fuso Signs New Dealer, Expands North American Coverage into Puerto Rico
LOGAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) announced it signed an agreement with Guaraguao Truck Sales, Inc., Bayamón, Puerto Rico, naming Guaraguao as an authorized sales and service dealer for Mitsubishi Fuso medium-duty work trucks.
LOGAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) announced it signed an agreement with Guaraguao Truck Sales, Inc., Bayamón, Puerto Rico, naming Guaraguao as an authorized sales and service dealer for Mitsubishi Fuso medium-duty work trucks.
Guaraguao Truck Sales will handle the full line of Mitsubishi Fuso commercial trucks, including its class 3 (12,500 lb. GVWR) through class 5 (17,995 lb. GVWR) FE and FG models, and its class 6 (25,995 lb. GVWR) through class 7 (32,900 lb. GVWR) FK and FM models. All are powered by fuel-injected, turbocharged diesel engines with automatic transmissions standard. And all come standard with the industry's best warranty package, including MFTA's exclusive 5-Year/175,000-mile (FE/FG models) or 5-Year/250,000-Mile (FK/FM models) powertrain limited warranty.
According to Mike Rumsey, vice president, sales operations for MFTA, "We're really looking forward to our move into the Puerto Rican market. We've studied this move for quite some time, and we feel we've found a great partner in Guaraguao Truck Sales. They have a very competent staff, and the ability to provide after-sale service and parts support for our new Puerto Rican customers."
As with all other Mitsubishi Fuso trucks provided to the North American market, the complete low-cab-forward (cabover) cab/chassis units will be built by Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation, Kawasaki, Japan, and distributed to Guaraguao Truck Sales through MFTA.
