COLUMBUS, OHIO – Three key leaders representing supply chain, client sales, and support and marketing/brand development have been promoted to the position of senior vice president by Belron US, a vehicle glass repair and replacement company.
Dino Lanno, Pete Pearson, and Mark Placenti have earned positions on the eight-member Belron US senior leadership team, which helps guide the overall direction of the company and will respectively each lead the company’s supply chain, client sales, and support and marketing/brand development areas.
Lanno and Pearson both joined the company in 1989. Placenti was hired in 2005.
Lanno is currently a member of several industry leading vehicle glass organizations and is active in developing vehicle glass standards for the industry. He continues to be the key face of Safelite to its strategic suppliers, building relationships for more than 19 years.
Pearson joined Safelite as a result of the company’s acquisition of AFG Glass where he served as a regional manager. Prior to that, he was with A-1 Quality Glass as general manager. His has 24 experience years in the vehicle glass industry.
Placenti spent time before joining Safelite in both corporate and advertising agency environments. As a key member of the Circle K management team, which led the company out of bankruptcy, he developed a marketing/advertising program that netted an incremental $15 million gross profit dollars over a three-year period.
The Belron US senior leadership team also includes Feeney, Rich Harrison, senior vice president and chief operations officer, Doug Herron, executive vice president and chief financial officer, Mark Smolik, senior vice president, general counsel, and ethics officer, and a to-be-named senior vice president of human resources.
