Toyo M137 Premium High Performance Steer Radial for Long Haul

ARTICLE TOOLS        | E-MailPrint

CYPRESS, CA – Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. has introduced the M137 premium high-performance steer radial for long haul, over-the-highway applications. This tire is designed to deliver more miles per 32nds to operators driving coast-to-coast. The M137 is a product of the Toyo e-balance design technology for commercial truck tires that focuses on a stiffer belt package, stiffer bead construction, and optimization through simulation technology. Benefits include improved tire life, improved endurance, improved irregular wear resistance, and improved fuel consumption.

A new tread design provides even contact pressure distribution across the tread surface resulting in smooth wear and extended tire life. An innovative casing profile minimizes growth of the tread and maintains a more uniform and flatter tread radius throughout services also improving the tire life.

The M137 is available in two sizes, a 295/75R22.5 and a 285/75R24.5. To learn more about the M137 and the full line of tires available from Toyo, visit www.toyo.com.

There is a 60-day comment period about the SEC proposal. Fleet leasing will be impacted by the adoption of IAS. It is probable that all fleet leases in the U.S. will need to be capitalized sometime in the 2011-2016 timeframe.
