PORTLAND, Maine - IntertechPira has announced that its clean fuels forum and business development conference, Clean Fuels 2007--The Race to Produce New Fuels for New Engines, will be held on June 25-26, 2007 at the Hilton Palacio del Rio in San Antonio, Texas. Conference co-chairs are Arthur Suchanek, former Vice President Technology, Criterion Catalyst Co. and Lester Wyborny II, Engineering Specialist, National Vehicle and Fuels Emissions Laboratory, Office of Transportation and Air Quality, EPA.
Participants will have the opportunity to assess and debate future fuels and engine technologies with speakers, petroleum and auto industry executives, technologists and engineers, and government and regulatory officials.
Fifteen expert speakers and session instructors will provide their insights into critical issues, such as environmental demands for low-sulfur gasoline and diesel, new NOx specifications, emerging refining technologies, and the outlook for oxygenates.
Market overviews will segue into presentations focused on cost-effective measures to lower the transportation sector's impact on the environment. Discussions will include the latest technological trends in future engines and fuel developments. Attendees will receive a balanced view of where fuel formulation, engine development, and legislation are heading and where new business opportunities are developing.
