PITTSBURGH – Cadec Global, a provider of advanced fleet management solutions, has launched Mobius Insight, a new add-on feature to its flagship Mobius TTS solution that provides intelligence to help trucking fleets monitor driver behavior, improve safety, and reduce costs.
Mobius Insight provides pre-configured dashboards for transportation executives on:
· Safety: Speed, sudden decels, DOT violations, etc.
· Customer Service: On-time deliveries; delivery temperature; Over, Short & Damaged (OS&D) deliveries, etc.
· Compliance: Hours of service, other DOT and state regulations
· Maintenance: MPG, RPM, asset utilization, etc.
· Cost: Idle time, out-of-route miles, laden/unladen miles, etc.
All of the data is collected using Cadec’s On-board Computers (OBCs) and DeliveryTracker software. Dozens of dashboard views are included, such as safety score cards for individual drivers. Real-time alerts can be automatically sent to managers, customers, and drivers via text messages and e-mail. Speed-by-road-segment and other selected trip exceptions can be animated using an optional virtual ride-along mapping component.
Mobius Insight is powered by a new partnership with Blue Sky Technologies, Inc., a real-time supply chain visibility software provider, and is one of several new additions to Cadec’s Mobius TTS 4.0, available to customers beginning this week. Others include:
· New built-in mapping software for up-to-date, detailed location and route information.
· Enhanced security features including WPA2 encryption.
· The ability to look up customer account information from the Cadec OBC.
Mobius 4.0 and Mobius Insight are both now available. For more information, visit www.cadec.com.
