Ford F-250/350 CNG & Bi-Fuel Conversions
Venchurs Vehicle Systems (VVS) is now offering CNG and Bi-Fuel conversions for Ford F-250/350 trucks.

Venchurs Vehicle Systems (VVS) is now offering CNG and Bi-Fuel conversions for Ford F-250/350 trucks. As one of the first CNG QVMs (Qualified Vehicle Modifiers) for Ford Motor Co., VVS is dedicated to promoting green philosophies and practices for a sustainable future by providing cutting-edge CNG conversions and installations.
Inherent cleanliness, safety and a domestic supply are some of the benefits of CNG that when combined with tax credits and grants available to green fleet operators, makes CNG a viable option for fleets big and small in the coming years.
"The Venchurs team welcomes the opportunity to bring our OE industry expertise and resources to this very important emerging market," says Venchurs' CEO Jeff Wyatt. "Our technology is extremely impressive-we understand that fleets need performance from their trucks and we're prepared to offer that."
The Venchurs CNG program includes both dedicated CNG systems, as well as Bi Fuel systems. The Bi Fuel system allows for a seamless, "on-the-fly" switching of the fuel supply and offers an additional 250 miles of drive time on top of the 200 that occurs through CNG. The Alternative Control Module communicates with the factory control system, and because VVS is a QVM for Ford, the original warranty is maintained.
To illustrate its CNG capabilities, VVS has built a CNG Search and Rescue Ford F250 truck proposed for use in professional service roles. The truck has a Bi-Fuel system that allows it to run on both Natural Gas and Gasoline. It is also upgraded to handle the outdoor's extreme environments and conditions, including Michelin off-road tires, a roof-mounted light-bar with strobe lights, an on-board air compressor, front bumper guard, IPF driving lights and a Warn winch. It will allow Rangers access to the parks during heavy snow storms without polluting the fragile ecosystem-CNG burns extremely clean, and the VVS system is rugged enough to handle nearly any environment.
Each CNG conversion will be performed at the Venchurs' state-of-the-art 135,000 square foot conversion facility in Adrian, Michigan. VVS is dedicated to quality-the converted Ford vehicles maintain their original warranty and all conversions are monitored and inspected by QC technicians.
